      I work in botany and plant sciences. Overall I am impressed with the quality of the department compared to university of kentucky. University HR and everything works smoothly as well

      Cons

      I don't have any. I am in a great lab and have the best boss.

      Great institution serving a diverse student population. Plenty of interesting research labs. Decent benefits.

      Cons

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.

      Good balance and structure depending on the professor you work for. Good recommendations from professor for life.
