Pros

Good benefits Health insurance is pretty good, and so are your other benefits Meal discounts (if you work at one of the hospitals) Private retirement plans separate of social security

Cons

They are just like every other corporate environment. Brown nose your way to success. Hard work, honesty, and integrity are not recognized. Being the bosses friend & yes man, is. As much as they would like to think their benefits are worth not paying as well as other companies, they aren't, especially now that new employees can't get in the pension. They care a LOT about their Dr's, not so much about all their support staff. Especially those that aren't directly medical positions. Discrimination is just as prevalent here as every other corporate environment.

Pros

I absolutely loved volunteering here. The program was organized, and it made me so happy to bring a smile to people's faces.

Cons

Sometimes we did not have much contact with the heads of the volunteer program.

Pros

None that I can possibly share. This is by far the worst place I've ever worked for and I absolutely regret applying here. Save yourself, don't apply, don't stay long.

Cons

Revolving door in every department. HR is a disaster. People are underpaid and burned out. UCHealth spreads like a parasite in Colorado by purchasing hospitals, underpaying employees, and not competing with pricing. Worst yet, it does not pay taxes at Coloradan's expense. DORA and UCHealth are supported by the state and if you are discriminated you will find no justice. Absolute corruption. They need to be audited and penalized by the state more often for many reasons.
