Pros
The job offers a chance to meet interesting people, and if you are keen to travel you should get plenty of opportunities.
Cons
People people people. I worked there for 2.5 years before resigning in disgust. Incompetent people, no leadership, poor management, plenty of naval-gazing/self-congratulations. UNDP has made no impact in reducing extreme poverty (see their own independent evaluation if you don't believe me).
