Pros
Most coworkers were team players. Especially when short staffed. Always busy making the day go by quick. Free Christmas dinner for staff. Always meeting new people as patients. Being able to help patients is a very rewarding feeling. Also offers perks to certain gyms and other businesses.
Cons
Parking is bad , they smush the cars like sardines and lot attendants have to move cars around to get you out. Attendants are also rude and careless with the cars. Cost is 20$ a month. Cafeteria has little options and is very expensive, a lot of things are weighed and charged by the pound. The unit I worked on was always under staffed. Nurses are left to a 1:7/8 ratio, sometimes with no aides. Management, as I’m sure is everywhere else was less to be desired. Health insurance is strangely very costly for working in the health field. Salary is low and not competitive to experience.
