Pros
The doctors who are willing to share their knowledge and experience with you are invaluable. They are thee biggest advantage to working at such a large hospital. By learning from them you will become a better employee, improve your knowledge for patients/family/your ability to serve others and do your job to the best of your ability.
Cons
The pay, the drama, and the moody employees. I was hoping my previous experience would warrant pay to not be practically baseline, coworkers make UPMC synonymous with Grey's Anatomy in every sense, and so many of the employees are simply disgruntled/miserable. To attempt to coexist with the negativity day-to-day is difficult to say the least.
