Pros
It was UPS and they have a good rep but it's definitely not small package which is where the good reputation comes from. Long hours so if u like OT it's a good place to get it. New building and plenty of parking.
Cons
This review is mainly for the Londonderry location. Where to begin? It was like being in the military. At one point management wanted me working 7 days a week working 10 hr shifts. When the place first opened it was a poop show, I hear it still is. There was consistent churn with temporary employees, UPS employees and management. The pay was awful for the work required. They wanted world class service on a shoe string budget. Temp employees were treated very poorly along with everyone else. It felt like we were working in a sweat shop in a 3rd world country. Sups were always in meetings and required a lot of people making 10 bucks an hr. It was very unorganized especially for calling it a UPS operation. It was the laughing stock of local UPS employees working for small package, where the operation was smooth and highly effective. This place is not worth the effort. Absolutely no work life balance, the first summer I worked here I had no life, and was told one more week of mandatory OT for months. They stopped telling us that after a few months and eventually had to go back to normal hrs after hundreds of people quit. I'd work 12 hrs as asked without a simple thank on scheduled days off. Absolutely No appreciation for any hard work done. There were a lot of good people but the people in charge were meatheads and drove most of the good people out. I truly feel bad for people stuck in this warehouse.
