Pros
Top scale pay is good, it's above scale for new guys but with inflation its not good enough. The saving grace is free benefits.
Cons
Droconiun a/f, they don't have the cameras up yet, but they are trying. Quarterly ride alongs with supervisors, the want them to ride with us in the sleeper cab for at least 400 miles, they have no clue that no one can sleep in the top bunk while the truck is moving. The push the rules to the bleeding edge except when they need to break them it's OK. The training is garbage, it's a program they use to train new A class drivers, but it's laughable now that they are hiring experience drivers off the street. The on road will train you for a week, and that training will teach you nothing about the job, it's just them yelling at you non stop for a week on doing the pretrip in perfect order while making copy paper work perfect or redo it. I used to train at my last job and I would have people from 2-3 weeks on the job training them so they can hit the ground running and not be stressed out because they don't know what's going on. They say they are going to hire a bunch of people but they aren't paying like they want anyone, if it was a more laid back place to work the pay would be good enough, but for how much bs you need to go through it's not enough.
