Pros

The resources available create massive opportunities for personal and professional growth. Educational and civilian certification opportunities are some of the best available from an employer.

Cons

Pay is too low for the amount of work people do. Poor guidance from supervisors leads to poor outcomes from junior soldiers. The unwillingness of senior to take care of people, and listen and learn from subordinates is a barrier to retention and growth.

Pros

The Pros to being a 92Y is that you may work alone and have an office to yourself, along with creating your own schedule by that i mean tasks. You dont have someone breathing down your neck unless you screw up or cannot meet deadlines. You have the ability to be stationed anywhere around the world, i was stationed in the US and Europe there are several oportunities and specific units you can support. After having 9 years of experience I think ive learned a lot and met great people.

Cons

You will be alone sometimes you wont have a mentor or subordinate when you become a supervisor or "supply sergeant", you will get micromanaged if you are not on top of things. People will think you dont do anything, you'll deal with a lot of officers who think they know more than you.
