Business Outlook
Pros
As a Regional Technician out of the Chicago regional office, I trained people across the Midwest and commanded field operations. In all honesty, the workload wasn't too difficult, and there are good people who worked there, although not in the upper management level.
Cons
-Because most people are hired on contract, there's very little communication with upper management, not that the director was open to critique. The deputy director was often accusatory in her meetings, creating a hostile work environment. -Definite favoritism practiced towards people that have worked there longer, even though some are obviously 'gaming the system'. -Chicago politics exist in this environment.
