Pros
Vision benefits are great, the dental coverage is decent, and medical is alright.
Cons
Working for the employer for 3 years with safety awards and commendable recommendations following several hazardous incidents to being informed less than 12 hours in advance and no written consent that 25% of pay is being reduced to avoid paying overages. They want a 486 mile route done in less than 10 hours in a truck that requires 2 fuel stops along route (PS no pay for fueling a slow fill CNG at 20 min. a stop) with traffic and construction along the route of two major cities. Deterred from taking alternate routes to avoid overages. managers refuse to call you back or answer their phones when called. Human resources protects the company and tries to bribe you with "randomly selecting your name" as a winning contestant to receive a free t-shirt, hat, and spoon. Does not properly train on equipment and refuses to fix equipment when red tagged. Forcing drivers who travel long distances into a CNG truck that cannot maintain the correct PSI necessary to complete the trip in peak hours of heat---along a route with no available fueling stops. Their competitors are taking their businesses from them and their project management/marketing/sales teams aren't fighting them. Effecting route and shuttle drivers across the board.
