Pros
Job security is an excellent selling point in these rough economic times and I feel that I have that in the Navy. There are many benefits that many employees don't take advantage of so as long as you dig up the info, you'll be taken care of for the most part.
Cons
They own you. This is a fact of life in the navy and even though it is necessary, I do feel that it's taken advantage of to often by the management.
