Pros

As a Special Agent, you get to see the world. Your decision making skills and negotiation abilities will be tested and sharpened.

Cons

Special Agents are disposable. There are three phases to a career: Phase I - Investigations; Phase II - Protection; Phase III - Post detail. Phase II is the only phase that matters. Full time protection is the true mission of the Service. You will not be home. Your schedule will change daily. You will work day shift, midnight shift and afternoon shift, in the same week. Supervisors will tell you lies and mislead you on a regular basis, and if you question an obviously lie, retaliation will be swift. Once Phase II is complete, Special Agents are banished to a big city office like Miami, or the purgatory that is Washington Field Office. Phase III agents are disposable. This alone shows a true lack of character at US Secret Service headquarters.

Pros

They're like a second family They offer a lot extra activities When is all good, there is a lot of fun, they know how to make you laugh

Cons

Sometimes you do not need a second family. You do not want the first one, imagine having 2! A lot of activities are not safe and you could end up in a bad way or go directly to jail or to the hospital if you do not take care of what you are doing Most of the time is not all good. Life with them is just about suffering. You cry inside. No one know, no one see. Your tears. Becouse of that we call it secret services. That's it. Do not trust yt.
