Pros
I haven’t been with the company very long but I already really enjoy the work I’m doing here. It’s interesting and challenging without being too demanding. Or rather, I should say, it’s demanding but not in a stressful way. I’ve yet to be given a deadline I couldn’t easily reach and there’s never any last-minute “emergencies” that are just piled on without any warning and with the expectation that you finish all of the work you were already doing on top of the additional work. I’ve been at a few companies where that was the norm, and I’ve got to say I really hope things stay the same here at USAN because so far I’m really loving it. I know what I’m doing, and I’m left alone to get it done. Managers don’t hover and even though the company likes to put on events and parties, they’re all outside of the regular work hours (or the work day is cut short), so there aren’t any distractions that keep me from getting my work completed on time. It’s probably not the ideal work environment for everyone but it more than works for me.
Cons
I don’t think I’ve been here long enough to be able to speak on the “cons” with any real authority. I have a few months under my belt, and during that time I’ve been getting used to the different environment and learning my role. Outside of that transition period at the beginning I haven’t really found anything I don’t like about working here.
