Pros
Free ground Starbucks coffee (Pike and Blondie) and fountain drinks for nutrition department staff.
Cons
Management constantly changing job tasks by increasing workload. No management correction/write up regarding lazy workers on full time status mainly due to staff shortages. So they know they can get away by slacking. An example would be a tray line worker not wanting serve coffee to patients because they don't want to wait less than 10 seconds for a cup to fill up. Wrong people are being blamed for not micromanaging the other workers. The person management will find fault with would be the last person at the end of tray line. If the cooks don't want to provide/make something, it will also be the last person on tray line's fault. On top of that there's older workers in the diet office where one expects others to do most of their work for them. And the other micromanage everyone to the extreme where it is unnecessary that it causes people on tray line to complain to you when it's not your fault nor do you have the power to change anything. It'll repeat endlessly, week by week. There are a lot of bipolar people working here, or two faced people. Be aware of mistakes because it'll be reported and hold against you. So, do the same. If they're not going to turn on you today they might the next and next thing you know you're in the director's office having a discussion regarding all the accumulated complaints filed against you.
