Pros

USDM listens to their employees. In the consulting world, it can be challenging to feel connected to the company that actually employs you, but USDM has noticeably been making an effort to build a community for consultants scattered around the US. We are communicated with when things change, invited to company events in our region, encouraged to provide input and empowered to take initiative and grow. Innovative thought and insight drive the company and this is evident across the board.

Cons

Administratively, there are cumbersome systems and processes for time management, etc.

Thank you for providing your feedback! We have been making a big push to connect our ever-expanding community. This past year, we just brought on USDM Europe! With this growth, our gatherings and building out our small teams are more important than ever... I am happy to say we are making good progress here. Also, I hope you are enjoying our new corporate Intranet site that features general information about what we do and how we impact our customers as well as highlight new hires and company gathering. Thanks for your work in being a contributing team member!

Pros

Work/life balance is solid if you can manage your time and do your job Pay is competitive Some colleagues are great to work with

Cons

Majority of good colleagues have left the organization in last couple of years Abusive CEO who isn't afraid to call out and berate employees in front of others. Dysfunction has spread across organization from the top down What made the company reputable and special were the ex employees who left because of the CEO's lack of leadership and abuse. Vague commission structure and unclear payouts Unclear responsibilities across the board leads to day-to-day confusion
