Pros

USDM plays on the edge of technology and science- working with leading life sciences companies from emerging and fast growing biotech to 100 year old established multi billion medical device and partners including Google, Veeva, Microsoft, Oracle and many more- addressing the challenges of using their technology to speed products to market or optimize business processes where safety and efficacy are impacted. Regulations change, technology advances and our customers grow- this provides an interesting and dynamic employee experience for professional growth and evolution. We all grow together, succeed together, fail, recover and learn together. Being on the edge and puhing 'what's possible' is a *pro' for the USDM team member.

Cons

USDM does not sit still for long. Internal change happens frequently. The challenges of growth can be felt before the remedy. Having enough process and structure to support fast yet controled decision making and execution without getting mired with buerocratic sludge is a journey that lacks perfection. Clearer roles Agile teams, clear objectives and outcomes keep the entrepreneurial spirit at scale. That rise the maturity levels and the challenges therein can be felt by the team member. Be a part of the solution and this 'con' becomes a 'pro', '

Pros

Work/life balance is solid if you can manage your time and do your job Pay is competitive Some colleagues are great to work with

Cons

Majority of good colleagues have left the organization in last couple of years Abusive CEO who isn't afraid to call out and berate employees in front of others. Dysfunction has spread across organization from the top down What made the company reputable and special were the ex employees who left because of the CEO's lack of leadership and abuse. Vague commission structure and unclear payouts Unclear responsibilities across the board leads to day-to-day confusion
