Pros
I received my first corporate job out of college with USI. Was hired on the legacy Wells Fargo side. Here are my thoughts: PTO is way above average for new employees, most of my peers are in the 10-15 day range, we get 18 here plus 2 extra holidays that most companies don't give. It totals 30 paid days off your first year between holidays and PTO. Salary: Very competitive, obviously depends on your negotiation skills though. Work/Life: Depends on your department manager, mine has been great. Benefits are great, top-shelf health plan, the whole nine yards. Overall, I feel taken care of and respected as an employee here.
Cons
You have to put your own money down for CE or professional designations and get reimbursed when you pass, not that out of the ordinary, but I think it could be restructured so they pay and you pay the company back if you don't pass.
