Pros

flexibility, but those policies have changed too.

Cons

- Poor work ethic and treatment of junior employees - poor handling of employee contracts and very short notice layoffs, meaning low job security - Taxing administrative processes and operations are not streamlined - Pitiful appraisal process, very low salary hikes and promotions - Slow growth, no real upskilling or learning since they hire mediocre talent - close to no extra perks/benefits/bonuses. - Unprofessional communication channels, such as reaching out over your personal phone number or WhatsApp after working hours. - Authoritarian culture with numerous restrictions on employee behavior, including dress code and personal freedom.

Pros

One of the things I value most about UST is the people. I have worked with supportive colleagues and leaders who are approachable and willing to help when needed. If you take ownership of your work and consistently deliver, you are trusted with greater responsibilities rather than being micromanaged. The company offers exposure to global clients, diverse technologies, and teams across different regions, which keeps the work interesting and helps you grow professionally. Learning opportunities are available for those who actively seek them out, and I have always felt encouraged to share ideas and improve the way we work. Like any large organization, your experience will depend on your project and manager, but overall I have found UST to have a collaborative culture where people genuinely work together to solve problems and support each other's success.

Cons

Cons Work life balance can vary depending on the project. Some delivery phases require extended hours, but better planning during peak periods would help.
