Pros

There is nothing of worth to mention of this company which has managed to hide its ugly inside politics from the outside world. The unfinished tower in Thrivendrum is the "shining" example of what happens if the owners of a privately owned company outsource the management( may be with good intentions) of the company to a bunch of self seeking chaps who are still milking the company for their personal wealth.

Cons

Everything is bad about this company: The worst part starts on 1 st day itself- all formal attire even in the heat of Kerala, on all 5 days along with tie and black shoes!! The company is a glorified recruitment agency with people recruited from outside and given for staff aug positions in various places. More money comes( not to company of course) from all the underhand deals in recruitment, placement, building maintenance, the many shows and festivals including elephant parades inside the campus etc. There is no formal sales force, all business is through "advisors" who are said to "influence" clients to give business. There are many more cons, do join this company and talk to some old timer to know more!!

Pros

UST actively explores new roles and career opportunities, including the Forward Deployed Engineer program, and supports employees in developing the skills required for these emerging areas. This initiative, led by CTO Niranjan Ramsunder, reflects the organization’s focus on preparing employees for future-facing roles and helping them grow beyond traditional delivery responsibilities. Chief Innovation Officer Mathew Kuruvilla has also established an impressive Experience Center that clearly showcases UST’s capabilities, solutions, and approach to innovation. It provides a tangible way to demonstrate what UST represents and how the organization brings together technology, experience, and business value. These initiatives are supported by the broader direction of the leadership team. CEO Krishna Sudheendra’s vision has helped create an environment where innovation, employee growth, and new ideas receive meaningful backing. His leadership enables teams to explore new areas, build stronger capabilities, and translate ideas into initiatives that create value for both employees and clients. Personally, UST has given me the freedom to explore the areas that interest me most, particularly virtual reality and immersive solutions. I started my professional journey here, and it has been a wonderful experience working with supportive teams and leaders who consistently place empathy first.

Cons

As UST continues to introduce new initiatives and career opportunities, creating more structured ways for employees across different teams to discover and participate in them would make these programs even more impactful.
