Pros
The money *can* be good. Also, better benefits than you'd expect. Usually a friendly environment. Management is engaged at all levels.
Cons
Customers constantly upset with their bills. You'd better make quotas, or you're gone. (It's a sales job, after all.) They preach work/life balance, but nobody actually means it.
