Pros
UTHealth had some great people who work in research. The training in my department was great. As a part-time employee, they were able to work with school schedule. The research projects paid for mileage driven when going to different testing sites.
Cons
The job can be demanding of your time at times. There was plenty of traveling using your own car. Work hours were not guaranteed each week.
