Pros

The UTHealth faculty have been very supportive of my research interests and accomplishments. I highly recommend networking at UTHealth by engaging with individuals or labs from all the Schools that make up the UTHealth system.

Cons

The UTHealth campus and community is very large which is both good and bad. On the plus side, it is a great organization to really branch out and meet great mentors (networking is key!). On the downside, unless you make an effort to engage with the community you may isolate yourself or feel a little lost. As long as you remain engaged with the community you will ensure a successful career at UTHealth!
