Pros

Great benefits, stability, and good educational training. Health insurance covered 100%, dental and vision low price. Retirement package but not vested for 5 years. Stability if you don’t like change you could be there long term. Most physicians are willing to teach you things specific to their patient population.

Cons

Not paid enough to basically be the physician. Expectation to review imaging and interpret it but not legally allowed to do so. No work life balance. Each individual practice is different but mine is high paced and often working from home in the evenings or weekends so I’m not behind during the week. Management is not helpful, they will listen but no changes are ever made.
