Pros
Some nice people, eating lunch together in the NJ office every day was fun.
Cons
I was only with the company for a short time, but that was enough to see why turnover is so high. Leadership seems completely out of their depth with little to no understanding of the automotive industry. When they do manage to bring in credible industry veterans, those people rarely stick around for long, which says a lot. The culture is insular and resistant to feedback. Challenging the status quo isn’t welcomed, and decision-making often feels arbitrary. At times, the environment even veers into misogynistic territory, with outdated attitudes towards women and family life. Compensation is significantly below market and there was no parental leave because leadership assumes employees have stay-at-home spouses — a mindset straight out of another era. Overall, it’s a dysfunctional organization with weak leadership, poor retention, and a culture that rewards conformity (come into the office 5 days per week!) over competence.
