Pros

None to list at this time.

Cons

My experience at UVeye Inc. was extremely negative and ended in what I believe was a wrongful termination. The company has a consistent pattern of scapegoating mid- and lower-level employees for poor managerial and C-suite decision-making instead of holding leadership accountable. UVeye is also unreliable when it comes to paying bills and vendors on time, creating unnecessary operational stress and damaging trust both internally and externally. These issues are well known but routinely ignored. There is a clear and troubling disparity in how employees are treated based on location. Atlanta-based employees are treated as expendable, while the New Jersey office receives preferential treatment, including catered lunches and perks. In contrast, Atlanta employees face heightened scrutiny and harsh disciplinary actions. In my case, I was terminated for not discarding materials that had already been declared as “scrap.” Instead, I chose—on my own personal time—to recycle them and use the minimal proceeds to do something positive for the office. This was treated as a fireable offense, despite similar behavior previously being normalized and done in good faith. Leadership culture is ruthless and short-sighted, driven by a desire to get rich quickly on the backs of employees—and, worse, at the expense of customers. There is little concern for fairness, consistency, or long-term sustainability.

Pros

Excellent company culture with a very supportive team environment. Onboarding was thorough and well organized, and there are plenty of resources available to help employees succeed. Training is comprehensive, leadership is invested in employee development, and cross-functional teams are generally collaborative and responsive. Overall, the organization feels well run and employees are set up with the tools they need to be successful.

Cons

None that stand out based on my experience so far.

Pros

Great culture, engaged leadership, a true open-door policy, and the agility to pivot and tackle problems quickly. Team member feedback is encouraged and heard.

Cons

The benefits package is not quite top tier, but I've certainly experienced worse. Overall, this has been a wonderful career transition for me.
