Management. There is way too much management, and depending upon who you report to, your experience working for UW can be great or terrible - there really is no in between. I spent far too long working for awful management, and no matter how much proof and documentation of harassment you give to HR or to your managers' superior, NOTHING changes. I am lucky to work for an excellent manager now who is very much involved with his team and forming a strong community.
