Pros
This was a great place to work. I had the autonomy to make the store what I wanted it to be, and it was a fun job. Management was pretty hands-off, so it was low-stress.
Cons
There really was nowhere to advance to from this position. In addition, because management was so hands-off, it was hard for them to recognize big gift shop successes or achievements because they were focused on managing other areas of the hospital.
