Pros

Competitive pay and benefits. Strong products with a respected reputation in the education industry. Talented, hardworking coworkers who genuinely care about quality and customer outcomes.

Cons

High turnover created constant knowledge loss and instability. Leadership lacked a clear long-term vision, resulting in shifting priorities and frequent rework. Teams often spent significant time revisiting completed work because requirements or direction changed. Communication between leadership and teams was inconsistent, making planning difficult. Career growth and promotion paths lacked transparency and did not exist. Long hours were often expected, including nights, weekends, and holidays, making work-life balance difficult.

Pros

None. This company is racist, ageist, and depending on AI to write educational materials

Cons

There are almost too many to list. Use of AI is demanded by the CEO (oh yes, the sainted Dr. Chandra himself) for writing educational materials for test prep and study guides; employees are expected to work 8 hour days with no breaks; blatant favoritism (everyone sees you, illustrators, walking in two or three hours late, then leaving maybe two hours later); ageism; micromanagement; directors who know absolutely NOTHING about the department they’re “leading”; VPs and above who also know zero about what the departments actually do, but demand metrics that are impossible to measure; did I say micromanagement? Excessive and extensive bullying is allowed and even encouraged; salaries are absolutely no where near market and they won’t pay anyone what they’re worth; training? what’s training? Sink or swim, you’re not worth training.
