Pros

discount, free product, working enviroment, nice people to work with in store

Cons

crappy pay for what you are required to do, bad schedule requirements, unrealistic expectations- you are expected to keep your store spotless clean- (not just normal stuff like sweeping, mopping and dusting) Crazy unimportant stuff like cleaning inside the cracks of doors, paint, clean air vents, scrap gum off floors, clean trash cans... have every item faced the same direction including testers even if it is 3:00 on a saturday. ( I fealt more like a janitor/maint. person rather than a manager at a beauty store.) You are expected to do all of this plus 1000 other things all with zero payroll hours and STILL maintain a perfect guest survey score! Not to mention there are countless other tasks. I have never worked for a company that was so demanding and unrealistic. The higher up's put so much pressure on the managment team and the dont seem to realize or care that these expectations are not achievable with what we are given. When they come into the stores they are rude and degrading and talk down to the team...they only point out the bad- never the good. Training- there is none! They call training giving us a cheesy dvd or a fact sheet. When we have a new hire or new manager we are expected to have them trained with zero extra payroll. There is not consistency. turnover would not be so high if the company would invest more in their people and give managers more incentive. the Yearly raises are a joke. I would not recommend anyone I liked to work for this company.

Pros

Gratis There are good hard working people that want to do well. I am still there (barely) because I haven’t completely given up that things will be handled/addressed correctly for those not aligned with company vision and expectations. However after 5 years of inaction it’s hard to believe that positive change will actually and maybe just maybe Myself and others that are dedicatedI will be recognized vs taken for granted.

Cons

No furthering development Keep toxic (leaders especially) allowing unacceptable behavior conduct and violation of company code Communication is very poor…it’s inconsistent,For example managers are not provided with direct email accounts so it’s a community email box. This causes a large amount of information to be read by the wrong audience and is not communicated if read by the wrong leader
