Pros

Good company goals overall, good growth opportunities

Cons

The pay for the role, I had to take a significant pay cut leaving a very similar role at another school. It’s also very sales focused. You get a book of students that you cannot lose or you get “out of budget” they hound you to push students to take out loans to protect your “book” -which feels weird and counter productive. I hate pushing students financially when I’m not allowed to even speak on finance, but their metrics makes it impact ME if my students can’t afford it. It’s an odd concept.

Pros

Overtime available, when need it

Cons

The work environment was highly scripted, making it difficult to build genuine rapport with prospective students. Employees were expected to follow approved scripts very closely, and even small deviations could be treated as compliance issues. At the same time, compliance expectations were not always clearly communicated, which created unnecessary stress. Management felt overly focused on micromanagement, contributing to a high-pressure work environment. During my time there, I also heard a prospective student comment on what they perceived as a lack of diversity within the organization, which stood out to me. Overall, I found the culture stressful and inflexible. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this employer to those looking for a supportive workplace with clear expectations and the flexibility to communicate authentically.
