Pros
Benefits are competitive. That's about it.
Cons
Vacation is a joke. They don't start you out with any, and is accrued over time. Be careful with management. They will talk a big game when you first get hired about how great UniFirst is and what the company will do for you. He claimed to be a laid back manager, but will track you with your computer while you are out in the field. They all have GPS enabled in them, so do not let him fool you when he tells you he doesn't track where his employees are at during the day. Training was very poor. They preach about going to Presidents club but don't explain how to write up an order. The manager told us to take the training with a grain of salt, but would "show" us how to sell. He is always out of the office, and told us to "figure it out" and were left in the dark once we were out in the field. Once you get out in the field, its basically a "good luck" from management since they don't explain what you should be doing in your first week in the field. They told us to "prospect any business you can" with no real leads or training on how to see if the leads were qualified or not. The data base is not accurate, so you are basically starting from scratch on day 1. If you are managements favorite, you can get away with pretty much anything. If not, you should start looking for another job. Be careful what you say and what you do. A lot of snakes in the grass and will rat on you for every little mistake you make.
