Pros

The people in general have a positive, upbeat attitude and approach situations with kindness and courtesy. UniFirst has consistently been ranked in upper echelon of companies and was ranked number one recently vs all competitors in Apparel Magazine (10 in best apparel company overall, behind companies such as Nike, 8, and ahead of the Gap, 12). The company values doing good work and their behavior reflects that. In my experience here, interaction with other UniFirst employees has been pleasant. Also for the work, it varies depending where you are, but while at times you are pushed, the company is managed well enough to give support to those overtaxed.

Cons

There is a disconnect between corporate and actual plant locations that can be hard to bridge, which can be frustrating. Actions tend to move at a slower pace than what feels necessary, leaving something to be desired

Pros

Upper management genuinely cares about their team, and the hiring process is simple and straightforward. Base pay and the monthly stipend are both fair, and I appreciate the company's structure — questions get answered quickly, and you have dedicated team member support. I also like that the role is self-managing, with CDR handling pricing and deal structuring so you can focus on your own performance. Overall, this company really takes care of its employees.

Cons

The pay structure for this role is a bit unique — after a sale closes, the CDR earns commission for the first few months, and then commission transitions over to the drive team. It's certainly not a deal-breaker, just an observation, and I'm not knocking the company for it. All in all, I had a wonderful experience at UniFirst.
