Pros
Easy interview and easy to get hired
Cons
Very little training. Everything was online and the support from management was pretty slim. Territories constantly changed, so while I spent a couple months building rapport, the lead was re-distributed and I lost out. This happened 4 times. Not only was there very little training, the pressure to hit numbers was almost immediate. The leads were stale. The contacts had been called numerous times by the previous reps in the area. There may be some "low-hanging fruit", but not much after that. Aside from one rep who had been there a long time, the rest of the team (7 others) had been employed less than a year. It was easy to see why. Instead of trying to build up lower performers, they were left behind while the top rep was fed more and more great opportunities. We were asked to make promises we knew the company couldn't keep with the lack of drivers, warehouse, etc.
