Pros

Decent pay for position You get a good work out Management is very understanding. Yearly bonus payouts

Cons

No work life balance in the shuttle position Management will ask you to do things that aren’t part of your job description. Management is horrible at communication between facilities They do the bare minimum on truck maintenance so you will be lucky to make it home some days. I have had a broken liftgate for months and management has yet to fixed that or the leak in my manifold. Lots of drama very unprofessional environment. People like to talk behind backs. Good luck getting a day off. Ask for PTO one month in advance. management is supposed to cover position. However they hire temps and sometimes they can’t find temps so they try to make you work on the weekends to make up for it even if you have bronchitis. Too many politics. They have what’s called hell week and we have to work doubles on holidays just to get a holiday of and you can’t get PTO one week before and one week after holidays they will not allow it. Insurance is horrible and all of there benefits for that matter.

Pros

Upper management genuinely cares about their team, and the hiring process is simple and straightforward. Base pay and the monthly stipend are both fair, and I appreciate the company's structure — questions get answered quickly, and you have dedicated team member support. I also like that the role is self-managing, with CDR handling pricing and deal structuring so you can focus on your own performance. Overall, this company really takes care of its employees.

Cons

The pay structure for this role is a bit unique — after a sale closes, the CDR earns commission for the first few months, and then commission transitions over to the drive team. It's certainly not a deal-breaker, just an observation, and I'm not knocking the company for it. All in all, I had a wonderful experience at UniFirst.
