Pros

The management at my location was very supportive. My Regional Sales Manager, General Manager and Sales Manager all did everything they could to help me succeed. The office staff was very good about processing paperwork after I submitted a sale. The service team at my location was one of the best in the company. It was a great family atmosphere at the office. I never felt like they looked for a reason to fire people. Even if your numbers weren't good, as long as they could see you were putting the work in they would do whatever they could to help you first before letting anyone go. There are constantly contest and incentives beyond just the commission and regular bonuses to help you make more money. The training is very good.

Cons

The hours can be very long some days. You have to install what you sell. That means hard manual labor and time away from selling.

Thank you for your feedback! It is great that you felt supported by not only your entire Location as well as your Regional Management. We really pride ourselves on having a Family Culture here at UniFirst and we are glad to see that you were able to experience it firsthand. The installation of Facility Service hardware is handled on a case by case basis depending on the size of the Account, the size of the UniFirst Location, and how busy all Team Partners are. And, yes – when everyone’s super busy Salespeople may be asked to chip in.

Pros

Upper management genuinely cares about their team, and the hiring process is simple and straightforward. Base pay and the monthly stipend are both fair, and I appreciate the company's structure — questions get answered quickly, and you have dedicated team member support. I also like that the role is self-managing, with CDR handling pricing and deal structuring so you can focus on your own performance. Overall, this company really takes care of its employees.

Cons

The pay structure for this role is a bit unique — after a sale closes, the CDR earns commission for the first few months, and then commission transitions over to the drive team. It's certainly not a deal-breaker, just an observation, and I'm not knocking the company for it. All in all, I had a wonderful experience at UniFirst.
