Pros

Salary plus commission is nice starting out, you can do OK if you land a few large accounts a year, 3 days a week you are out making sales on your own, my manager is wonderful, work hard can make a descent income, great training for a better paying sales job

Cons

Way out of date CRM systems and reporting, never seen company print so many useless reports that are handed out each week, you spend 30% of your time doing useless computer work moving clients in your data base forward because you could not reach them, women's benefits are terrible, this job is a complete grind with low pay, huge turnover, penny pinching company culture

Thank you for the review. We are happy to hear how highly you think of your Manager and the training you’ve received. We are constantly working to improve our systems and processes including our CRM System. If you continue having a hard time with past due activity we would suggest working with your Sales Manager to arrange for some database clean-up to make your scheduled activities more manageable.

Pros

Upper management genuinely cares about their team, and the hiring process is simple and straightforward. Base pay and the monthly stipend are both fair, and I appreciate the company's structure — questions get answered quickly, and you have dedicated team member support. I also like that the role is self-managing, with CDR handling pricing and deal structuring so you can focus on your own performance. Overall, this company really takes care of its employees.

Cons

The pay structure for this role is a bit unique — after a sale closes, the CDR earns commission for the first few months, and then commission transitions over to the drive team. It's certainly not a deal-breaker, just an observation, and I'm not knocking the company for it. All in all, I had a wonderful experience at UniFirst.
