Pros

Product: Technology is world class, and overall it's an innovative product, with compelling vision driving it forward. Year over year continued investment in product and unwavering focus on paid social, consistent direction, minimal pivots, agile and responsive to customer needs. Culture: Dedicated leadership, top notch talent - bright, dedicated, overall good people. Flexible work hours, commitment to diversity and inclusion, particularly gender and LGBTQ issues. Willingness to promote from within, culture a huge focus with a family like environment, free snacks/beer/cold brew, frequent company outings, open seating plan with execs on the floor with everyone else. Customer happiness a priority which makes work easier, because not dealing with angry clients day in and day out. Recently shifted to become more transparent company wide, which I think is important. If I had written this review last year at this time, I would have given 3 stars due to leadership, particularly in the Revenue group, and the continued lack of accountability shown in delivering against goals. Product was in the process of being revamped, which was making things stressful as well, but almost everything that was bringing my rating down has been resolved.

Cons

Start-up life can be a roller coaster and is not for the faint of heart. When the unexpected happens - market downturn, client departure, industry change, the effects are felt more strongly at young companies, and even with the best intentions, can be painful. Young workforce who has limited experienced with the ups and downs of business can amplify this problem because they think everything, good and bad, is unique to Unified. Recipe for major drama. Pay is below market, perks, culture and professional development opportunities are given to try to make up for that, but sometimes isn't enough to retain key talent.

Pros

Campaign management team was a solid place to learn different DSP's and skills. Good PTO, medical benefits, and work life balance.

Cons

Below market pay with raises extremely difficult to get. Awful training and systems on account management teams. Thrown into the fire and expected to create brand new systems without training or support. Team is being held together by duct tape and bubblegum. Does not keep up with tech and AI integration/new tech. iHeartMedia owns Unified so any system changes/promotions go through a ton of bureaucracy. Use of slack and teams, maintaining Microsoft and google emails and communications was chaotic. Management plays favorites and is scared to ruffle feathers in order to promote growth/positivity. Lots of gossip and complaining about coworkers. No company culture or incentives, meet ups, offsets, perks. The work is overall extremely boring and not gratifying.
