Pros
Helping people with disabilities is a noble purpose.
Cons
United Access bought out the location I worked at which had been a community staple for over four decades and closed it within two years. Having worked in corporate America for more than three decades myself, my amazement continued every day that they really had no plan for the location to move forward. When the location closed, the RVP announced that his position had been eliminated as well. We found out two days later that while his position had indeed been eliminated, he was actually promoted. I can't imagine someone delivering the news that people were losing their jobs and trying to position himself in the same circumstance only to find out he had been promoted. That was United Access leadership in a nutshell. Support from the corporate level to the store level is poor to non-existent.
