Pros
Office environment, potential to work from home, lots of overtime available.
Cons
It sounds like an interesting job, but it's not. Absolutely no autonomy or ability to use clinical judgement, you just make sure the case matches the guidelines and if it doesn't, send to MD. Lots of phone calls, get yelled at all the time and no support from management or anyone else with difficult customers. Have to make phone calls for stupid reasons - ever heard of a GAP case? You'll learn to hate that word. Things change literally all the time. As soon as you're used to something, it will change for the worse. Management can't or won't do anything to help, everything is just the way it is 'because we say so.' You feel like a cog in a machine. To top it all off, they have literally the worst benefits package I've ever gotten from a job. Deductible was unbelievable. Just stay away from this place.
