Pros

There are definitely those who really care about the children and being a team - but they’re not in leadership.

Cons

Narcissistic bullies are running the place. They lie to corporate and to those they are trying to manipulate and/or keep quiet about the reality of what’s really going on. Constantly short-staffed and out of ratio with the CEO instructing that outsiders be told “count each body in the building as part of ratio,” even nurses, teachers, maintenance, etc. CEO becomes involved in physical restraints without HWC certification. An employee recently gave 30 day notice but they let her go immediately despite no one being available to complete her essential duties. The likelihood of another sentinel event is increasing - not decreasing - because of the leadership currently in place. Corporate needs to make unplanned visits and start talking and LISTENING to those on the floor because no one else is!!!

Pros

Overtime, Overtime, Overtime, Overtime, Overtime

Cons

Staffing turn around sucks because they can’t keep a certified nursing officer and the one they hired is on a high horse, favors staff and fires those he doesn’t favor when an opportunity arises. The dayshift supervisors also have favoritism and certain dayshift staff gets treated like gold and whatever they want compared to other shifts. Nursing management takes vacations to get away from admin and the CNOs wrath. And to top it off they fire staff for dumb reasons like asking to work a different unit for a break or having staff react to trauma of being assaulted by a patient. Staff gets abused here and admin doesn’t do a damn thing to correct the issue other then let staff go.
