Understaffed, Underpaid and Unrealistic - Anonymous employee Universal Music Group Employee Review

Poor hiring decisions leads to leadership with no vision and poor work ethic. Some departments very understaffed and under budgeted. Others staffed and budgeted like it's still the 90s. No rhyme or reason to the discrepancies between the two. Constantly crying "no money" despite #1 market share. Mostly straight white male leadership. HR is a joke. Poor performers are rarely fired. It's hard not to whisper in every new artist ear "Run, they don't care about you and will do virtually nothing to actually develop and market you".
