Pros
The vibe at UMG is great. Everyone loves music and generally loves what they do. The company is really laid back, they give lots of flex time, great perks and have a company cafeteria so people don't have to leave in the afternoon if they don't have the time/want to. It's a family atmosphere and most people get along and are friends outside of work.
Cons
When I left, there had been a CEO level management change and the incoming honcho was all about the numbers, not the quality of the product or helping the artists. He definitely brought the moral of the company down as a whole and was not good for business. Since I've left, there's been another CEO level change and I hear good things about the new guy. I have lots of hope that things have returned to their amazing pre-previous regime state.
