Is this your company?

Pros

Benefits are good (health insurance, 401k, vacation time, etc.). Listen to music before it is released. You occasionally see/meet artists.

Cons

Toxic & negative work environment. So many reasons where do I start… sexism, favoritism, nepotism, tyranny, verbal abuse, micromanaging, lack of managing, little pay, and no room for growth and opportunity. Employees are not trusted to do the task assigned so manager/exec asks other employees for the same task which makes employees compete against one another. Waste of time and resources. Ideas go unheard then robbed and they take the credit for it. Tyrant in position and everyone is fighting for his attention. Employees scared to question management/execs because the egos are through the roof. Inappropriate comments made at the expense of others in front of colleagues. Insults based on appearance, education, background and false rumors not quality of work. Management/Execs make sexist remarks on the regular. Sexists even include the women. Boys club and women at the top are fighting with each other and demeaning the women in lower positions. Managers/execs are territorial and belittle those who know a little too much for their liking. Free thinkers and ambitious individuals need not apply. To quote another reviewer “Ambition is not praised it is restricted.” Major favoritism shown to certain employees whom reap better travel privileges and exceptions on certain spending HR dept. is a joke and are in fear of management. The moment you complain they wait a month or two then off with your head. Employees complain and gossip about negative environment amongst themselves but too scared to report to HR since HR snitches to the tyrant. Lastly, the pay isn’t great. They try to pay as little as possible to lower employees so management/execs can have higher salaries. Bonuses are based off a percentage of your salary not quality and quantity of your work. This place makes you want to do the bare minimum. No incentive to thrive. Opportunities given to those from certain backgrounds only. The following was just my opinion. Feel free to take it with a grain of salt. Good luck!
