Bad department heads are protected by senior management - Faculty Upstate Medical University Employee Review

Senior management will protect its bad department heads, even when there is a proven track record of poorly treating employees. The unions have had a hard time addressing these issues under the current administration. Administration seems only concerned with the fiscal management abilities of their department heads. Lack of transparency and dishonesty are also part of the university culture.
