Pros
From the beginning I knew Ursa was a special place. I've never experienced such a seamless, impressive and easy onboarding like I have here. Everything was ready for me day dot and since then questions or changes have been easily addressed. You can feel the company's well-rooted culture at every turn in the organization. From top down and bottom up, it's clear that each employee takes the culture seriously and because of that I feel fully welcomed and embraced.. I know that I can truly turn to any employee with a question and they'll happily drop what they're doing to help provide an answer. As far as my role within Ursa, it is clear that management hires talent to come in and make a difference. Micro-managing is not a thing here - collaboration and independence is. Leadership makes a point to recognize your talent and encourages growth for your own sake and the company's. I feel empowered at Ursa.
Cons
Forecasting past a quarter is not super easy to do at a start-up but certainly makes work easier to manage. It would be nice to have a longer roadmap & vision for the company, however, this takes time to develop and I know we've got the right leadership in place to make this happen.
