Single out employees, verbally slanders employees and clients in front of others - including racial and sexual slurs towards clients, Inexperienced doctors expected to treat delicate exotic species or solo surgeries they’ve never done. Ignores, punishes and terminates employees who report behavior that goes against “the VEG way”.

Hi there! We appreciate your honest feedback and we are truly sorry that you didn't have a good experience during your time at VEG. Our VEG Manifesto, written by our CEO Dr. David Bessler literally starts by saying that at VEG, we lead with love. We are deeply sorry if you experienced anything different than that, that is definitely not what we stand for. Our People as well as our Culture departments are always open to feedback about our leadership teams and the work environment in order to understand what goes on in our hospitals and do whatever we can to improve. When it comes to our recently graduated doctors, we do offer a structured and advanced training program that helps them become comfortable and confident handling different pets as well as performing solo care for patients when that time comes. They are provided with a more experienced doctor to mentor and multiple opportunities to learn and measure their development. The only pro I fell into this place was having the open concept flooring.So clients could actually see what we were doing, and they weren't thinking we were just ignoring them

Cons

Constantly short-staffed, no compassion for their staff. I lost my father during covid.And I needed a little more time my manager at the time was amazing.But she was replaced while I was out by somebody else who had no compassion.It's very cult like i would definitely say that the management at the location I was at was terrible.That they replaced my original manager with all about the money, not really about the pets, as much as they drill it into your head, they say they are
