Viavi is a leader in telecommunications test solutions with good technical innovation. Collaboration between technical teams across different product areas to create new test solutions is very good.

Cons

Viavi is too focused on short term financial returns making it difficult to get commitment to invest in new testing solutions which can have uncertain returns.

Pros

The technology and processes are interesting and I felt engaged.

Cons

Recent management changes have made the work environment toxic. One of the recent changes was tracking work time to the minute, lunches, breaks....many long term employees have left or are looking for other opportunities.
