We appreciate feedback from former employees, as well as from our current employees, among whom our frequent surveys document very high professional satisfaction. We are pleased that our rate of staff retention far exceeds the average of other schools in our region. While we are not perfect, our strong focus on professional development and creating a nurturing environment for students and staff alike make things like disparagement or yelling exceedingly rare occurrences -- and we still aim to improve. We are proud that many of our staff have been promoted from entry level to leadership positions, with pay appropriate to those new positions. My greatest concern from this former employee is the comment that children "are deprived of hot meals"; every child at VOICE is fed lunch every day, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
