I noticed some comments here... here is my take on it: The benefits are NOT better than working for the government... especially in regard to retirement!! The only better benefit is the vision benefits... but who needs three pairs of sunglasses a year? I would rather be paid better, and in relation to my abilities and the product I produce. I don't need a bunch of glasses gathering dust in my drawer. If you start in customer service expect to stay there for a very very long time, if not indefinitely. HR does not recognize competent, hard-working and dedicated employees. If you want a decent job there, don't expect to move up... you need to bring your experience from the outside, as can be seen throughout the company. If you think the onsite cafe and cake day is a perk: expect to gain at least 10 to 15 pounds while working there... this place not a healthy environment mentally of physically. The programs implemented to show a 'healthy work force' are implemented for public relations reasons. Find yourself a better job and get treated much better, especially if you work in the military-like customer service sector of the company. Pay is horrible.
