10yThank you for your feedback. We actually do support transfers to other departments, based on the employee interest and the departmental needs. I encourage you to express your interest, and VERY IMPORTANTLY, provide a rationale on why the move is justified. e.g. If you are in the marketing team, but have a GIS background, you want to communicate why you should be in the IT/GIS team and how you will add value.
I sincerely hope that you can continue to have a learning opportunity here as university students, and transition to a more responsible role upon graduation :)
